Estacada - 02/25/26

On February 25th, we gathered at Brax Laundry in Estacada for a sweet and steady day of connection and care. We had the opportunity to serve 17 neighbors, completing 19 loads of laundry together.

Our fabulous LoveOne fam, Brigham and his wife Deborah, blessed us with a warm, cheesy chef pasta dish made and served with love. In addition, their church, the LDS Church of Estacada, generously prepared sack lunches to make sure everyone left with something extra for later. It was such a thoughtful touch that truly extended the care beyond the laundromat walls.

We were also joined by a couple of amazing folks, Justin and Chi, from Clackamas County Clerk & Elections, who connected with our neighbors and shared helpful information. And in one of the most heartwarming moments of the day, Abby’s grandma sent handmade hats to give out to anyone who wanted/needed one. Thanks, Grandma!  It was a beautiful reminder that even those not physically present are part of this mission in meaningful ways.

We will be out in Estacada again on 3/11, so spread the word and stop by for moments of dignity, kindness, connection, and community.
