Estacada - 04/08/26

On April 8th, we gathered at Brax Laundry in Estacada for another day of service and connection with our community. Throughout the event, we were able to serve 24 neighbors and help complete a total of 23 loads of laundry, including 3 small, 11 medium, and 9 large loads. Every load washed represents one less burden for a family or individual navigating a difficult season, and we’re grateful to be able to provide that kind of practical support.

Our guests were also cared for with a wonderful meal. The amazing duo, Debora and Brigham, prepared a delicious breakfast casserole and banana pudding, while the LDS Church of Estacada generously brought sack lunches to share. Acts of kindness like these turn a simple laundry day into something much more! It becomes a space where people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.

We were also elated to be joined by Roxanne from the Estacada Public Library, who helped connect neighbors with valuable local resources and support. Partnerships like these strengthen the work we do and remind us that community care happens best when we come together!
