Another month of fighting food insecurity in Clackamas County is on the books!!
In the month of May, at Redland Grange in Oregon City, we helped 1,619 of our most vulnerable neighbors acquire groceries with this essential service we provide. We wouldn't be able to be of service to all the people facing food insecurity that we do without the fantastic support from our community partners, staff, and volunteers!

With help from the Oregon Food Bank and the Clackamas Service Center, we fed 593 families with 475 kids, 225 veterans, and 566 seniors who might not have known where their next meal was coming from. We are so grateful to the awesome people at the Clackamas Service Center for stepping in at the end of the month and subsidizing the food supply at our pantry on the 29th. Thank you!!
We have started to feel the effects of the federal budget cuts to food banks across the nation, but we are dedicated to meeting the basic needs of this community and our most vulnerable neighbors, no matter what!!
June is a new month, and we are back at it every Thursday, helping our neighbors in need obtain groceries to keep them going as they are navigating food insecurity.
So spread the word!! See y'all Thursday!
