Milwaukie - 02/18/26

At QED Laundry in Milwaukie last week on 2/18, we had the privilege of serving 22 neighbors, completing 26 loads of laundry together.

Dinner for the evening was pizza and salad, a simple meal that gave everyone a chance to sit, refuel, and connect in community.

We are incredibly grateful to the fabulous folks with the Rotary Club of Milwaukie, Oregon, who provided volunteers, dinner, and a generous financial donation to support the night’s outreach. Their partnership continues to make a meaningful difference. As well as their support for the evening, they also received a District Grant they had applied for on behalf of LoveOne. Their local Community Service Committee is planning to use those funds to purchase much-needed items directly from our Amazon wishlist, turning generosity into tangible support for our neighbors. We are so grateful to have such amazing community partners who share the same vision as us!

Clean clothes, warm meals, and strong community partnerships; this is what it looks like when a community shows up for one another.
