Milwaukie Laundry on May 11th was a cozy afternoon filled with warm food, practical support, and caring community. We served 19 neighbors during the afternoon and helped complete 33 loads of laundry, including 8 small, 17 medium, and 8 large loads.

Everyone enjoyed a comforting meal of minestrone soup, garlic bread, and cookies while spending time together and connecting with volunteers. We were also able to hand out several hygiene kits to help meet everyday needs.
A special thank you to GracePointe for sponsoring the afternoon and helping make this outreach possible. Every load washed, every meal shared, and every conversation had reminds us how meaningful simple acts of care can be to someone who needs it. Belly rubs with K9 Officer Rita from the Milwaukie Police Department never hurt either.
We are back next month at Milwaukie Laundry on Monday, June 16th, and we hope to see your smiling faces there!
