Milwaukie North - 01/12/26

On January 12, we spent the evening at Milwaukie Laundry serving 14 of our rad neighbors and completing 26 loads of laundry. It was one of those days that reminded us that flexibility and patience are just as important as clean clothes.

Midway through the event, the laundry machines unexpectedly went down, putting everything briefly on pause. After some waiting and troubleshooting, the machines came back online, and we were happily back in business, proof that a little persistence goes a long way!

While laundry was getting done, neighbors enjoyed yummy pizza along with hot coffee and cocoa, creating a warm and welcoming space despite the hiccup. We also distributed hygiene kits, helping folks stock up on essentials to take with them.
