Milwaukie North - 06/09/25

We had a fantastic, albeit very hot, laundry event in Milwaukie on Monday, 6/9, and we might have all been glistening (we were SWEATY!) but we were having a great time!

This was our 75th event that we have held at Milwaukie Laundry with the ever-benevolent GracePointe crew! Our friends at GracePointe Church have been working beside us this whole time, and with their acts of service and financial donations, we have made this laundry event a success! Thank you to everyone at Grace Pointe Church!!

At this laundry event, we assisted 16 of our awesome neighbors in washing and drying a whopping 1,000 lbs of laundry in just one evening. The only hiccup we had besides all the sweat was our dear friend, Kim, forgot the fruit she wanted to share with everyone at home, and our superstar staff member, Alina, graciously went on a journey to fetch it, equipped with an address, a garage door opener, and lots of determination.

We did laundry, we ate fruit, and we shared community connections on a gorgeous, but warm, evening. It was fabulous!

We will be back at Milwaukie Laundry again next month on Monday, July 14th, at 6pm, so spread the word and we'll see you there!
