Milwaukie North - 08/11/25

We had a fantastic event this month at Milwaukie Laundry on Monday, 8/11, despite the crazy heat! With the temps so high, we had a slow evening with only 10 neighbors stopping by, but we still managed to wash and dry 400lbs of dirty laundry!!

Our amazing Alina kept everyone refreshed with her homemade lemonade, and our awesome Abby brought out cold chicken salad sandwiches that were absolutely perfect for such a hot summer evening. Along with ice-cold Gatorade and plenty of water, our neighbors were able to stay cool and comfortable while they waited for their laundry to finish.

The folks from GracePointe Church went above and beyond, as always, handing out snacks and hygiene items and checking in with folks throughout the evening. It’s moments like these, when sharing good food, cold drinks, and community care, that remind us what a gift these free laundry events truly are. We’re so thankful for everyone who makes them possible!
