Despite a damp evening on December 8th, Milwaukie Laundry was filled with warmth, good food, and meaningful connections. The rain didn’t slow our neighbors down, and we were grateful to gather together for another free laundry night alongside the incredible GracePointe crew.

We had the honor of serving 18 neighbors, helping wash an impressive 1,260 pounds of laundry across 31 loads. While washers and dryers hummed, everyone enjoyed baked potato soup, fresh rolls, and homemade cookies. It was comfort food that made the space feel especially welcoming. We were also able to share socks, hygiene items, and snacks with several folks who needed a little extra support.

This evening marked the final event managed by GracePointe, and we want to offer our deepest thanks for their steadfast partnership and heart for service. Their dedication has made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for all they’ve done to support our mission and our community.
