It sure does take a village to run a free laundry event at QED, and on Wednesday, 2/5, we were not disappointed with the team or the turnout!!
We had 38 of our marvelous neighbors come down to wash and dry 45 super sudsy loads of laundry! One of our participants even brought PUPPIES!
Two of our most fabulous volunteers, the lovely Ron and Patti, deserve a gigantic thank you for their dedication to our team and for always being there to open and close down our events! They even bring dinner to feed the hungry, and grateful, masses!
The cherry on top was having Jacobi, from the Young Men’s Service League, and his remarkable mother here lending a hand, thanks for being awesome!!
And did I mention there were puppies?!
We can't wait to see what is in store for us next time.
