Milwaukie South - 04/15/26

QED Laundry in Milwaukie on April 15th marked a memorable day as we gathered for our final event at this location. QED is the place where it all began!! We served 26 neighbors and completed 33 loads of laundry, including 15 small, 11 medium, and 7 large loads, continuing the work that first took root here.

Lunch was a hit, with plenty of Costco pizza, cookies, chips, and soda to go around, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere as we shared this closing chapter together.

This space has been more than just a laundromat for us; it has been the launching point for what LoveOne has grown into today. We are deeply grateful to QED for opening their doors and giving us the opportunity to begin meeting essential needs in a way that centers around dignity and community.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the work continues. We will be expanding our schedule at Brax Laundry - Oregon City to help carry this momentum forward and continue serving our neighbors!
