Milwaukie South - 07/02/25

Our latest free laundry event at QED Laundry was on Wednesday 7/2, and boy did we have a blast! We had tons of community members, volunteers, Girl Scouts, and trash bag fashion.

Our amazing staff and volunteers, Debby and Andrea, assisted the 57 people who came down to wash some laundry, adding up to 48 super sudsy loads washed and dried!

The West Linn Girl Scout Troop #10375 visited us and were stoked to do their part to give back to the community! Annie, Maya, Rosalyn, Leah, and the rest of Troop #10375 chose LoveOne to volunteer with and graciously spent $200 of troop funds to make sack meals and provide hygiene supplies to give out to our most vulnerable neighbors!

Thanks ladies! We love to see the youth getting involved.

The end of the evening consisted of Alina and Laurie having a conversation about folks needing something to change into so they can wash the clothes they are wearing, and subsequently making some incredibly creative outfits out of big black trash bags!
