Milwaukie South - 09/03/25

On the evening of Wednesday, 9/3, at QED Laundry, we welcomed 45 neighbors who completed 38 sudsy loads of laundry. The atmosphere was full of warmth and community, thanks to the many hands that made the day possible.

Our neighbors were nourished by a delicious meal provided by us at LoveOne and a special garden-fresh salad shared by the lovely Na’alei. It was a true delight! Essentials were generously provided by Dan, ensuring our neighbors had what they needed. We were also delighted to welcome Ezra and his mom from the Young Men’s Service League, who joined us in serving our community.

As always, our neighborhood regulars brought steady support, and the many volunteers who helped with set-up and take-down deserve a heartfelt thank you. Your commitment and kindness keep this program running strong.

Together, we continue to build a space of care, dignity, and community, with just one load of laundry at a time.
