Molalla - 04/07/26

On April 7th, at Brax Laundry - Molalla, we had another day of practical support, meaningful connection, and community care. Together, we were able to serve 37 neighbors and complete a total of 38 loads of laundry, including 7 small, 10 medium, and 21 large loads. Each machine running represents more than clean clothes; it represents relief, dignity, and one less obstacle for someone facing a hard season.

Our guests were also treated to a wonderful meal. Our incredible friend Deb prepared warm and hearty cheeseburger soup along with cinnamon roll cake, while the amazing Maggie added extra joy to the day with salad and Easter candy. Sharing food always creates space for conversation, laughter, and the reminder that no one is alone. We were grateful to welcome the amazing Pastor Tom back, as well as the lovely Sarah, who volunteered their time and efforts. A new face, Pastor Daryl, also stopped by to see the event in action as we were joined by the Molalla Library Bookmobile, helping connect neighbors with reading resources and opportunities. Every person who shows up adds something special to the day and helps strengthen the sense of community we hope to create.

Because of your generosity, we continue to offer a place where practical needs are met, and neighbors are reminded that they are deeply valued.

We are in Molalla at Brax Laundry, so come on down, throw in a load or two of laundry, and have a meal with us!
