Molalla - 06/09/26

On June 9th at Brax Laundry - Molalla, we gathered once again with neighbors for a steady and meaningful evening of community, connection, and care.

A total of 37 neighbors were served, with 7 small, 11 medium, and 19 large loads completed throughout the day. As always, the rhythm of the evening was shaped not just by the hum of machines but by the people who showed up to support one another.

The amazing and talented Pam joined us on behalf of Grace Lutheran Church in Molalla, which sponsored the event, bringing a generous lunch of sandwiches, fresh fruit, and cupcakes that added a sweet touch to the day. She also brought her autoharp, filling the space with beautiful live music that brought a calm and welcoming energy to the laundromat.

We were also grateful to have the incredible human, Deb, volunteering alongside us, continuing to be a consistent and valued presence in this work.

Moments like these are a reminder that community care shows up in many forms: meals shared, music played, laundry folded, and time given freely.
