Molalla - 08/18/26

Brax Laundry - Molalla was buzzing on August 18th as we welcomed 41 of our fabulous neighbors for a day of free laundry, good food, and plenty of community connection.

Together, we tackled 42 loads of laundry, including 11 small, 11 medium, and 20 large loads!

Lunch was a definite highlight of the day, thanks to our resident sandwich wizard, the amazing Maggie! She absolutely rocked it, serving up three delicious sandwich options: classic peanut butter and jelly, turkey and cheese, and homemade chicken salad. She also whipped up a delicious fruit salad to go with lunch, making sure everyone had a tasty and fun meal to enjoy.

We were also joined by the incredible Deb, who is always an amazing super-volunteer and such a wonderful part of our Molalla crew. And of course, we were absolutely thrilled to have the Molalla Library Bookmobile stop by, bringing even more resources and connection to our neighbors.

It was another great day in Molalla: lots of loads cleaned, bellies filled, books browsed, and community strengthened!
