Molalla - 12/16/2025

Brax Laundry - Molalla on December 16 was one of those full, joyful, busy, busy days that remind us why this work matters so much. We served 50 neighbors, both familiar faces and folks joining us for the first time, while washers and dryers stayed humming all afternoon. In total, we helped with 12 small loads, 38 medium loads, and 13 large loads of laundry, all alongside great conversation and community.

The shared meal set the tone for the day, with a hearty brunch spread of egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, coffee, and fruit salad bringing everyone together. We were grateful for the help of Luke and Garrett from the Molalla Adult Transition Program, along with our wonderful Sarah, who shows up for our neighbors time and time again. Their support made a big difference on a very active day.

The celebration didn’t stop there! It was also our incredible volunteer Deb’s birthday! Brandi stopped by with birthday balloons, flowers filled the space, and there was joy all around as we celebrated someone who means so much to our program and our hearts. Adding to the fun, the Molalla Library Bookmobile parked in the lot, giving neighbors a chance to browse and take home something good to read.

It was a day full of service, celebration, and connection. We’re so thankful for everyone who helped make it happen!

We are at Brax Laundry - Molalla every Tuesday so come on down and throw in a load!!
