Molalla - 12/23/2025

On December 23 in Molalla, our community came together at Brax Laundry - Molalla  for a powerful reminder of what love in action looks like.

Because of the generosity of volunteers and partners, 45 neighbors were served with free laundry, warm meals, and genuine connection. With just 3 dedicated volunteers, we were able to support: 10 small loads, 18 medium loads, and 21 large loads of laundry!

While washers and dryers were spinning, the space was filled with laughter, conversations, wagging tails, and moments of care that matter. From volunteers kneeling down to greet four-legged friends, to shared smiles over hot food, the atmosphere reflected exactly why we do this work. A huge thank you to everyone who helped feed both hearts and bellies: Amy made ham, Alina made turkey, Nash brought pies, Sarah brought potatoes, Deb brought rolls, and Ali brought green bean casserole. The meal table was full, the plates were warm, and no one left hungry.

This day was about more than laundry — it was about dignity, hospitality, and community. We are deeply grateful to Brax Laundry, our volunteers, and every person who showed up and shared space with us.

This is what LoveOne + community looks like.
