Oregon City - 04/08/26

On April 8th, we gathered at Brax Laundry - Oregon City for another day of serving our neighbors through practical care and connection. During the event, we served 31 people and completed 50 loads of laundry, including 6 small, 24 medium, and 20 large loads. Every finished load is more than a household task; it’s one less burden carried by someone who may already be facing significant challenges.

Our guests were also welcomed with a comforting meal of chili and cheese, fresh rolls, iced tea, and water. A warm meal shared in a welcoming space can make all the difference, and we’re grateful for the way food brings people together while meeting a real need.

A special thank you to the amazing Jill and Sarah, who served as our wonderful volunteers for the day, alongside some amazing humans from the Young Men's Service League. Their kindness, hard work, and willingness to show up for others helped make the event run smoothly and created an atmosphere of encouragement and care for everyone who attended!
