What a night at Brax Laundry - Oregon City last week on May 20th! We served 35 neighbors throughout the evening, helping with 6 small loads, 25 medium loads, and 17 large loads of laundry while the parking lot transformed into a full-on carnival celebration!!

The atmosphere was full of joy, laughter, and community connection thanks to an incredible team effort from phenomenal volunteers with BNI Oregon Trail Business Builders - Oregon City, OR, Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon, and the Young Men’s Service League, all showing up in a big way to support our neighbors!
The rad humans with MCK PDX inc prepared and packed delicious grab-and-go meals featuring a fresh salad with black beans, corn, jalapeños, radish, tomato, olives, and chile-cilantro vinaigrette, along with pear bread pudding for dessert. The food was absolutely amazing and such a gift to everyone who came through.
One of the highlights of the evening was the ice cream cart provided by the incredible folks at Auto Pros Car Care. With music playing, free ice cream being handed out, corn toss games, water tattoos, face sparkles, prizes, and so much laughter filling the space, the whole night carried a playful and magical energy that you could truly feel.
It was one of those beautiful evenings that reminded us how powerful community can be when people come together with generosity, creativity, and joy.
If you didn't already hear, we have free laundry events at Brax Laundry - Oregon City every Wednesday now, so spread the word!
