It was a busy evening at BRAX Laundry Oregon City, last Wednesday, June 11th! So much so, we forgot to take pictures! The one photo we did manage to snap is of the rockstar volunteering mother-son duo, Ayden and his lovely mother from the Young Men's Service League. Working side by side with our young neighbors who want to get involved in giving back to their community early makes us so proud and hopeful for the future of Clackamas County!

Our phenomenal harm reduction angels, Val and Kenny from 4D Recovery and David from NAMI, were here with us, providing resources and support to the 58 neighbors who stopped in and did a mountain of laundry. 82 washed and dried loads of laundry, in total for the night.
Thanks to everyone who made/make it possible for us to help others meet their basic needs. It's amazing how having clean clothes can positively impact someone's self-esteem and self-worth.
We will be back at Brax on Wednesday, June 26th, for all of your laundry and resource needs! See ya there!
