Oregon City - 09/09/26

Brax Laundry - Oregon City on September 9th was a hot one, but our dream team was ready to roll!

We served 50 neighbors and washed 49 loads of laundry: 13 small, 25 medium, and 11 large. The incredible Elijah from The Father's Heart brought hot dogs, and after we went through 60 of them, our phenomenal Directors, Brandi and Glen, jumped in and ordered more food to keep everyone fed!!

We also had a participant share the love by bringing popsicles for everyone on such a warm day, plus an unexpected special guest: a GIRAFFE!

Huge thanks to the amazing Tara, as always, for bringing the fun when she comes to help us set up. Our crew was serving up hot dogs, bagged lunches, and hygiene kits, while the fabulous Claire and Patricia absolutely crushed it with outreach and support. And, of course, there was an exceptionally cute support dog who had pretty much the entire place in love.

Just another Oregon City laundry day full of good food, great people, unexpected giraffes, and a whole lot of community showing up for each other! Come and join in the fun with us on the first 4 Wednesdays of the month!
