Sandy - 03/19/26

Cedars Laundromat in Sandy on March 19th was a steady and connected day, with 30 neighbors joining us and a total of 42 loads washed and dried. It was great to see the space active and full, with folks coming through not just to get laundry done, but to spend time together and build community.

It was both chili week and a chilly week, which made the warm meal especially appreciated. We served up hearty chili with cheese, along with sweet rolls, chips, coffee, and cookies to round everything out. The warm food, combined with a welcoming space, gave everyone a chance to relax, connect, and take a break from the cold. Moments like these continue to show that no matter the size of the gathering, community and care are always at the center of what we do!
