Sandy - 04/09/26

Cedars Laundromat in Sandy was full of community care on April 9th as we gathered to serve 30 neighbors and helped complete 36 loads of laundry. Every event reminds us that something as simple as clean clothes can make a meaningful difference, and this day was no exception.

Our neighbors were treated to a delicious meal of sloppy joes, chips, and cupcakes, which brought plenty of smiles along the way. A huge thank you to the incredible duo, Trish and Connie, from the LDS Church, for preparing food and showing up with such generous hearts. We were also glad to have the fabulous Grace from the Oregon Department of Human Services with us, continuing to connect with our community.

Outside, the amazing Tracy and Blue were busy helping neighbors and making sure everyone felt seen and supported, and we were also grateful to have Compliance Officer Moody join us again as a familiar and encouraging presence.

Days like this are possible because of so many people who choose to show up, serve, and love their neighbors well!

We are at Cedars in Sandy every Thursday, so come on down and see what we're all about!!
