Sandy - 04/23/26

April 23rd at Cedars Laundromat in Sandy, we were able to serve 32 neighbors in the community while helping with 6 small loads, 25 medium loads, and 13 large loads of laundry. It was a great day of connection, support, and full bellies.

Our meal for the day was spaghetti and meatballs, with doughnuts for a sweet treat to finish things off. Sharing a warm meal always helps create a welcoming space for conversation and connection.

We were also joined by the amazing duo, Jenifer and Natalie, from the Oregon Department of Human Services, along with April from A Safe Place: Family Justice Center, who were there offering valuable resources, support, and encouragement to neighbors in need. Their presence helped make the day even more meaningful.

We are thankful for everyone who came together to make this event such a success and for the continued partnerships that help us serve our community so well.

As always, we will be at Cedars in Sandy every Thursday, so spread the word and come on down to throw in a load or two of laundry!
