Sandy - 05/07/26

Cedars Laundromat in Sandy last week (5/7) was a sweet and simple afternoon of connection, good food, and a little unexpected fun. We served 24 neighbors through the ministry of laundry, including 3 small loads, 16 medium loads, and 8 large loads of laundry.

Lunch was chicken fried rice with fruit salad, which made for a fresh and filling meal while everyone gathered together. One of the highlights of the day was someone bringing flow scarves for the team to try out. There were lots of laughs, movement, and colorful moments as everyone gave them a spin. Sometimes the smallest surprises bring the biggest joy.

We’re grateful for every volunteer, every conversation, and every chance to create community in the middle of everyday moments.
