Cedars Laundromat in Sandy last week (5/14) was full of good food, great community partnership, and meaningful connection.

We served 34 neighbors and completed 44 loads of laundry throughout the day, including 7 small, 25 medium, and 12 large loads of laundry washed and dried. Lunch was a hit with delicious chili and cheese, tortilla chips, cookies, and even some surprise pizza. Huge thanks to Heather and Colleen Pattiani, from a fantastic church group who blessed everyone with the amazing chili and cookies, helping make the day so special!
We were super grateful to have the incredible folks, Limber, Blue, and Grace, from the Oregon Department of Human Services with us, along with our very favorite Compliance Officer and friend, K. Moody from Sandy Compliance, adding his special vibe to the afternoon. It is always encouraging to see so many people and organizations coming together to support our community in practical and caring ways!
We are in Sandy at Cedars Laundromat every Thursday, so spread the word, and we will be here to welcome you with open arms. Figuratively, unless you need a hug.
