Our July 9th free laundry Thursday at Cedars Laundromat in Sandy was another reminder of how powerful a caring community can be. We had the opportunity to serve 30 of our awesome neighbors by completing 31 loads of laundry, including 4 small, 21 medium, and 6 large loads.

A heartfelt thank you to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Tickle Creek congregation for preparing a wonderful lunch of chicken salad sandwiches, cookies, water, and grapefruit juice for everyone to enjoy. Sharing a meal together creates space for conversation, connection, and community, and we're so grateful for their generosity.

We were also happy to welcome the incredible folks from the Oregon Department of Human Services, who stopped by to offer support and connect with our neighbors.

Partnerships like these help ensure that people can access valuable resources while they're with us.

Every load of laundry, every shared meal, and every conversation helps remind our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and never alone!
