Thursday, 7/17, was another incredible day of community, connection, and clean laundry at Cedars Laundromat in Sandy!!

A total of 49 neighbors joined us, and together we knocked out 37 loads of laundry. It’s amazing what can happen when people come together, not just for fresh clothes, but for the care and dignity that everyone deserves.
We’re so grateful to the organizations that came out to share resources, offer support, and build bridges in our community. Our friendly neighborhood Compliance Officer, K. Moody, was here adding his special vibes to the event, and Clackamas County Clerk & Elections was on site helping folks get registered to vote and answering questions about upcoming elections, because everyone's voice matters! The awesome folks from the Cascade AIDS Project joined us with vital health resources, information, and compassion, helping reduce stigma and connect neighbors with services they may not otherwise know are available, and our fantastic friends at Clackamas Women's Services continue to be a steady presence, offering safety and support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Together, we’re creating a safe, welcoming space where people can access what they need, no questions asked. Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and every neighbor who makes these events possible!
