Sandy - 08/06/26

On August 6th, we were back at Cedars Laundromat in Sandy, where we served 26 fabulous neighbors and helped get 25 loads of laundry washed and on the way to being fresh and clean.

It was our slowest day in recent memory, but even on a quieter day, the heart of the community still showed up. We shared pizza and grapes, and the amazing Judy made sure folks had food boxes to take home.

Our all-time favorite Compliance Officer, K. Moody, also stopped by, handing out stickers, smiles, and plenty of positive energy. Sometimes the impact of these days isn’t measured by how busy the laundromat is; it’s measured by the people who walk through the door, the conversations that happen, and the reminder that our neighbors have a community ready to show up for them.

Quiet day? Maybe. Meaningful day? Absolutely.
