We had another busy day at Cedars Laundromat in Sandy on August 20, serving 25 of our awesome neighbors and completing 20 loads of laundry.

We kept everyone fueled with a hearty meal of chili with sour cream and toppings, sloppy joes, and water. There were also lots of food boxes available for our neighbors, making it an especially full day of resources and support.
And because no two LoveOne events are ever quite the same, there was also a small wildlife rescue mission happening throughout the day as people tried to help an injured squirrel!
It was a busy day filled with laundry, food, resources, and neighbors looking out for one another! It was a great reminder that sometimes community care comes in all shapes, sizes, and occasionally, very fluffy forms.
We are in Sandy at Cedars the first 4 Thursdays of the month, so come on down and say hi!
