Sandy - 09/03/26

Sometimes you just have one of those days where the team is running on fumes and moving as fast as possible. September 3rd at Cedars Laundromat was definitely one of those days, with a bare-bones crew serving 33 people and washing and drying 28 loads of laundry.

We kept things simple with pizza for lunch, but thankfully, there were kittens!! Sometimes that’s the kind of support a busy outreach day requires.

We were also happy to have our bestest friend, K9 Rita, join us, along with the phenomenal Don, our outreach support from the Milwaukie Police Department. It was a great sight to see familiar faces out in the community and doing what they do best, showing up and connecting with our neighbors.

Another busy day at Cedars, another reminder that even when the crew is small and the clock is moving fast, we keep showing up!

Come see us in Sandy at Cedars Laundromat on the first 4 Thursdays of the month! We would love for you to join us!!
