Showers - 11/13/22

At our Sunday shower event on 11/13 we were extra glad that the sun came out! We served 13 neighbors (both houseless and housed) with essential services like food, water, and for some- a hot shower. As temperatures are dropping, a showers becomes crucial for those without shelter or running water.

I am reminded of why we do this every time a neighbor comes out of the shower with a huge smile on their face and says "I feel like a human again.”
