It was the perfect day for cleaning up the community. It was a beautiful, warm, and sunny day on 4/4 when we had our most recent Trash Extravaganza!! We partially loaded up a 40-yard dumpster with help from our always faithful crew of 12 participants with lived experience, plus one of our favorite volunteers, Mark Blanchard from Solve. We utilized our spiffy new Gorilla carts to travel the distance between the trash-covered area and the dumpster, to more efficiently beautify an often neglected area for our Oregon City Police and Les Schwab friends. We will be continuing our work as we make our way down toward HWY 213 in the future.

Right now, we are in the plotting phase of our new OC Patrol Team, which will be two LoveOne participants who will do weekly patrols in downtown Oregon City, and have a diligent presence to regularly clean up trash in common problem areas like the Boardwalk, the Transit Center, and under the 12th Street trestle.
We look forward to starting this new project soon!!
Thank you, everyone, for all of your help!!
