Welches - 01/21/26

On Wednesday, 1/21, we spent the day at Welches Laundromat serving 13 neighbors and completing 23 loads of laundry. It was a quieter day, but still one filled with meaningful connections and care.

We shared a fresh meal together, featuring an assortment of random salads, yummy sandwiches, and yogurt bowls, simple, comforting food that gave folks a chance to sit, eat, and connect while their laundry was running.

We were grateful to be joined by the fabulous Fengming Wu from the Oregon Department of Human Services and amazing Kayla Wilson from RentWell, who spent time connecting with neighbors and offering support and resources. Their presence added another layer of care and collaboration to the day.

Small gatherings like this remind us that every load washed and every conversation shared matters!!

We will be back at Welches Laundromat again next month on 2/4, so come down, throw in a load or two, and feel the love!
