Welches - 03/18/26

On March 18th in Welches, it was a fabulous day of connection as we gathered at Welches Laundromat , with 11 neighbors joining us and a total of 21 loads completed. It was a steady day that gave us plenty of time to build relationships and make sure everyone felt welcomed and supported.

We were incredibly grateful to be joined by the amazing Fengming Wu from the Oregon Department of Human Services, our lovely friend, Erin, from Clackamas Women's Services, and the marvelous duo Darian Dunlap and Grace Belas from Mountain Life Clinic. Their presence added so much value, helping connect folks with resources, support, and care way beyond just laundry.

Lunch was a comforting highlight of the day, with Gina the Great preparing spaghetti served with bread and butter. It was a simple but hearty meal that brought everyone together and created space for conversation and community.

We will be back in Welches on April 1st, so tell your friends, and we can't wait to see all your faces!
