Welches - 05/06/26

Welches Laundromat on May 6th was a wonderful afternoon of community connection, with 14 neighbors served and 22 loads of laundry washed and dried. Lunch was an absolute treat this week! We had chicken and wild rice soup, homemade biscuits, and Mexican hot chocolate chip cookies, catered by the amazing folks at the Brightwood Tavern, delivered by the fabulous Jen! Everything was delicious and such a huge hit with everyone!

We were also joined by the phenomenal Heather, owner of the Welches Laundromat, who is always an incredible support to our outreach efforts. She was the one who connected us with Brightwood Tavern to cater the event, and we are so appreciative of her continued kindness and partnership.

These events are only possible because of the amazing people and businesses who continue showing up for the community in such meaningful ways. We sure appreciate everyone who helps make Welches feel a little brighter each week.
