Welches - 06/03/26

Our Welches Laundromat event on June 3rd was a wonderful day of community, connection, and lots of laundry. We served 16 neighbors and helped complete 24 loads of laundry, ensuring families and individuals had access to clean clothing and linens.

A special thank you to the amazing Mackenzie for preparing a delicious meal of vegetable beef soup, fresh rolls, and salad, with churro bites as a sweet treat to round out lunch. The homemade meal was enjoyed by all and added an extra layer of warmth to the day!

The highlight of the event was the many four-legged visitors who stopped by. We were delighted to meet several friendly neighborhood dogs, whose wagging tails and happy faces brought plenty of smiles to volunteers and neighbors alike.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. Every load washed, meal shared, and conversation had helps strengthen our community and reminds our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported.
