Welches - 11/19/2025

At Welches Laundromat on 11/19, we welcomed 19 of our neighbors and helped with 27 loads of laundry. It was another warm and community-filled day on the mountain. Our rock star team member, Alina, kept everyone well fed with a cozy lunch of homemade tomato soup and fresh salad, the perfect comfort food for a chilly fall afternoon.

We were joined by the amazing Fengming Wu from the Oregon Department of Human Services, who spent time connecting with folks and offering support. Our fabulous friend, Ryl, came out to volunteer and ever so generously offered free haircuts, which were a huge hit!! And adding extra joy to the day, Abby brought along Carl the corgi!! He's always a crowd-pleaser and definitely the day’s unofficial emotional support superstar.

A wonderful mix of clean clothes, good food, helpful resources, and wagging tails. Another great day serving our community in Welches.

We will be back in Welches next month on Wednesday, 12/3, so spread the word and come throw in a load!!
